Mark Tham is a distinguished graduate of the National University of Singapore, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Estate Management (Honors) and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate. With a rich history at Newman & Goh since 1995, Mark is a licensed appraiser for Land and Building, contributing extensive expertise to the company’s success.
Mark’s professional journey began as a Property Manager at the Town Council, where he managed Housing and Development Board (HDB) and Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC) properties. His commitment to excellence led him to Newman & Goh, where he has played a pivotal role in the valuation domain. Mark specializes in overseeing and supervising valuation work for HDB, JTC, as well as private valuations for a diverse portfolio of local, foreign, and multinational companies and banks.
Beyond valuation, Mark’s leadership extends to the property investment realm, where he takes charge of comprehensive feasibility studies for en-bloc and collective sales. He provides invaluable counsel to pro-tem owners’ committees, guiding them on the feasibility of listing their properties for en-bloc sale. His strategic insights ensure that each property sale is meticulously planned and executed to achieve successful outcomes.

Sim Kai Li

With over two decades of profound expertise in property management, Ms. Sim Kai Li is a seasoned leader in the real estate industry. A distinguished alumna of Reading University, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Land Management with Honours. Further fortifying her knowledge, she earned a Master’s degree in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore.
Kai Li commenced her journey with Newman & Goh in 1997 as a dedicated Property Executive and quickly ascended the ranks, earning the title of Senior Property Executive in 2000. During this period, she underwent specialized training in estate valuations and achieved her appraiser license in 2000, showcasing her commitment to excellence in property management.
In a remarkable milestone for Newman & Goh, Kai Li authored the quality manual for property management in 2002, significantly contributing to the company’s attainment of ISO 9001 certification for property management. Recognizing her exceptional leadership and contributions, she was appointed as Director in 2003 and later assumed the role of Deputy Managing Director in 2007.
In a strategic move in 2021, Ms. Sim Kai Li took a significant leap in her career journey as part of the full acquisition of PropNex Property Management Consultant Pte Ltd. This pivotal development led to her well-deserved promotion to the esteemed position of Managing Director at Newman Property Consultants. Her visionary leadership has been instrumental in shaping the company’s success in the real estate sector. In a testament to her standing in the industry, she joined the honorary ranks of the Strata Titles Board (STB) in 2022 as a panel member. In this capacity, Kai Li utilizes her expertise to mediate disputes related to strata-titled properties and provides guidance on orders concerning collective sales, further solidifying her reputation as a trusted authority in the field.
Wong Kwong Chen

With an illustrious career spanning over four decades in the property industry, Mr. Wong Kwong Chen brings a wealth of experience to Newman Property Consultants. His extensive professional journey includes tenure with a prominent developer and two esteemed property consultancy firms.
Mr. Wong’s expertise encompasses the management of a diverse range of properties, including condominiums, industrial spaces, shopping complexes, and mixed developments. Throughout his distinguished career, he has demonstrated a remarkable ability to navigate and oversee complex projects with precision and finesse.
His profound contribution is evident in his management of projects totalling over $40 million, focusing on additions and alterations, modernization, upgrading, and repair works. Mr. Wong’s expertise extends across various facets, including ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation), electrical installations, vertical transportation, and more. His comprehensive understanding of these elements ensures that every project under his purview receives meticulous attention and achieves the highest standards of excellence. Wendi Lim

Her professional journey commenced after obtaining her Diploma, where she dedicated herself to managing HDB residential properties with a Town Council before making significant contributions to other esteemed property consultancies.

Serene Goh

With a decade of experience in the real estate industry, Ms. Serene Goh stands as an exemplary communicator with a remarkable ability to foster collaboration between councils, residents, and stakeholders. Her proficiency in executing and implementing effective solutions is a testament to her dedication and expertise.
Serene specializes in assisting MCSTs with defects matters, showcasing her keen attention to detail and commitment to resolving complex issues. Beyond this, she brings a wealth of knowledge in project management, spanning repairs and redecorations, new development start-ups, and financial analysis.
As a valuable team player, Serene’s dependable nature and detail-oriented approach contributes significantly to the success of Newman Property Consultants. Her multifaceted skills and unwavering commitment makes her an integral part of the team, ensuring excellence in every aspect of real estate management under her purview.
David Khoo S T
Associate Director

With a passion in property management and to serve the community, David served in various roles in the Managing Council for over 13 years. As MCST Chairperson for 10 years, he worked alongside the managing agent, contractors, government agencies and subsidiary proprietors to obtain a positive and constructive outcome for his estate.
To fulfill his passion in building management, David joined Newman & Goh Property Consultants Pte Ltd in 2016 as a Condominium Manager, managing an estate of 761 units with a three staff site team. During his tenure, David successfully managed major repainting and redecorating works, upgrading of lifts, tennis courts, replacement of central air conditioning and remodeling of the gym facility.
Recognising his ability to soar to greater heights, David was promoted to Senior Property Executive to manage multiple projects in 2018. To further develop his capabilities, Newman & Goh enrolled him for various enhancement courses such as Project Management of Refurbishment and A&A Works, Maintenance & Repair Cost Estimation, Maintenance of Fire Protection, Communications and Security Systems. David is also a Certified Anti-Terrorism Professional with IACSP.
Given his experience in managing condominiums, commercial and industrial properties, David was soon promoted to Associate Director. He is also an accredited member of ASM and certified CPFM with APFM.
Given the rising and rigorous impositions and enforcements of regulatory requirements by various government agencies such as the Work Safety and Health (WSH) Act and Personal Data Protection (PDPA) Act, Newman & Goh recognised the need for improved operational compliance to safeguard the interest of all MCSTs under its care. In 2023 the Operation and Compliance department was formed under the leadership of David as a departmental head.
Darren Cheng E H

A graduate of Oxford Brookes University with an Honours Degree in Real Estate Management, Mr. Darren Cheng embarked on a dynamic career in the property industry. His journey includes a transition to business development roles within various multinational corporations, creating a unique and valuable hybrid experience that significantly accentuates his current position.
With a customer-centric approach, Darren stands out for his keen ability to identify the nuanced needs of Management Corporation Strata Titles (MCST). This skill, coupled with his pragmatic and feasible solutions, underscores his robust business acumen. Having ascended through the ranks, Darren has been entrusted with overseeing the expansion of portfolios for Newman Property Consultants. Mr. Darren Cheng’s diverse background, coupled with his commitment to understanding client needs, positions him as a key contributor to the company’s success. His strategic insights and dedication to growth makes him an invaluable asset to Newman Property Consultants.
Ashley Toh S R

A distinguished graduate of the National University of Singapore, Mr. Ashley Toh holds a Master of Science degree in Building Performance, complemented by a degree in Applied Physics from the Nanyang Technological University.
Embarking on his journey with Newman & Goh in 2017 as a fresh graduate, Ashley’s ascent through the ranks has been nothing short of remarkable.
Starting as a Property Officer, Ashley’s dedication and expertise quickly propelled him to the position of Senior Property Manager in 2023. His analytical mindset is evident in his logical approach, often leveraging statistical data to empower clients in making informed decisions.
Recognizing the importance of collaboration, Ashley places a high value on information sharing. He actively fosters a culture of support within the team, conducting regular team meetings to enhance inter-project collaboration and cohesion. Throughout his tenure, Ashley has demonstrated exceptional leadership in crisis management, overseeing repairs exceeding $1 million and effectively responding to various emergency situations. From tree-falling incidents to carpark fires, collapsed walls, floodings, and underground pipe bursts, Ashley’s strategic and proactive approach ensures that Newman Property Consultants navigates challenges with resilience and efficiency.
